Tonya M. Glynn, a Beaufort native, is our primary Probate Paralegal. She joined the firm in June of 2000. Tonya has a Paralegal Certificate from Midlands Technical College, a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Political Science and Social Work from the University of South Carolina, and a Financial Planning Certificate from Florida State University. Before joining the firm, Tonya worked for the South Carolina Treasurer's Office at the Capitol Complex in Columbia, South Carolina.
Tonya works mostly in the areas of probate and trust administration. During the administration, Tonya is responsible for the financial recordkeeping and reporting requirements, which includes the preparation of accountings, and United States estate tax returns (Form 706). Due to her years of experience with the firm, her educational background, and continuing legal education (CLE), Tonya is also cross-trained in estate planning matters.
